PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid)
PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) is main raw material for Polyester Fiber, PET Fiber (raw material of Plastic Bottle), PET Film and so on. Usually, PTA made from Paraxylene, mixed with the Acetic Acid with catalysts such as Cobalt and Manganese, it is made by oxidation at about 250℃.
● Solution by IVT
Acetic acid and Terephthalic acid are highly corrosive even after the slurry process. Strong errosive resistance is required for the valve. IVT can provide stable performance due to our uniquely designed Titanium valve produced from our extensive experience in this application. When the plant shuts down (cools down) for maintenance and inspection, IVT could propose further options to improve the flow of the fluids.
